This well known story from the Gospel of John deserves a "revisit" as we celebrate Women's Day. Some of our traditional interpretations are spiritually immature, exegetically irresponsible, and theologically deficient.I encourage the reviewing of this story through a lens that steers clear of slandering this precious women's character.
