Hello friends, and welcome back to Faith Talk. I’m Rev. Jay Stuart Glover, and over the past few weeks, we’ve been exploring the topic of prayer.

Recently, I was in a conversation with a group of young people who shared that they struggle to pray. They didn’t know what to say, or they were afraid of how their words might sound—so in many cases, they simply didn’t pray at all. Maybe you’ve felt that way, too.

My first encouragement to them was simple: just talk to God. But we can also learn a great deal by looking at the prayers of those who have gone before us—people like Jesus, or Mary, whose prayers we've reflected on in recent episodes. Today, we’re turning to the book of Psalms—specifically, the opening verses of Psalm 119—to see how the structure and tone of this passage can guide and shape our own prayers.
I’m Rev Jay Stuart Glover you have been listening to Faith Talk. These episodes are available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, YouTube and other podcast platforms. Please share with family and friends. And in all that you do please remain prayerful. Amen
