Today on Faith Talk we find inspiration from a timeless word of encouragement from the book of Revelation. A message delivered to the ancient church in Philadelphia, but is just as relevant for us today.
The scripture from Revelation 3:11 says:
11 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.

The Philadelphian church lived under the hardship and terror of persecution under Roman authorities. Yet the word comes to them telling them to hold on to what they have. What did they have to hold onto and what do we have now?
